Govts urged to 're-skill' workers

Bangkok Post, ASEAN, 4 November 2019 - The Asean region is set to experience a skilled labour shortage in the future, due to the mismatch between the qualifications held by existing workers and the skill sets needed to achieve and succeed in the fourth industrial revolution (4IR), a seminar was told.

The remarks were made by Ingo Imhoff, programme director of the Regional Cooperation Programme to Improve the Quality and Labour Market Orientation of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (RECOTVET), at the Asean Business and Investment Summit 2019 on Sunday.
