Pakistan: NAVTTC to train 100,000 individuals in Phase-IV

Radio Pakistan (online), 22 July 2017 - National Vocational and Technical Training Commission has decided to provide training to one hundred thousand individuals under Phase-IV of Prime Minister Youth Skill Development Programme.

According to official sources, the training would be provided in best of the best institutes in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Peshawar through Pakistan-Italian Debt Swap Agreement.


The aim of the training is to give the people socio-economic empowerment through provision of market-able hands-on-skills.    

The sources said other plans include skill development training of two hundred individuals belonging to oil and gas producing districts with collaboration of OGDCL.         

NAVTTC has also established a National Skills Information System to consolidate demand and supply related information of Technical Vocational Education and Training graduates at local and international level.
