Skills for Employment Policy Brief: Increasing the employability of disadvantaged youth

— theme: Employment services
— country: Global
— type: Reports

ILO -2011. Young people are in a vulnerable state in the labour market, many of them lacking the skills, work experience, job-search abilities and financial resources to find employment. This brief looks at ways to improve the chances of young women and men already disadvantaged by their circumstances to enter or re-enter the labour market. It also draws from several key documents, chief among them: 'Conclusions on promoting pathways to decent work for youth', International Labour Conference in 2005.
