The TVET Reform Project is an initiative of the Government of Bangladesh and implemented by the ILO. One of its objectives is to promote women's and men's access to both formal and informal TVET training, including those groups that have been traditionally under-represented in skills training. To investigate which models of training and assessment work best with which student groups, the TVET Reform Project has facilitated the development of a number of partnerships between the government and the private sector. The pilot discussed in this publication is one of those collaborative efforts, focusing on increasing access of persons with disabilities and women with low levels of education to skills development programs.
