Asia Pacific is the fastest-growing and most economically dynamic region in the world. Yet many countries in the region face similar challenges in developing the skills of their workforces, to make the most of the opportunities on offer.

At the same time the region can also offer a lot of useful expertise and ‘lessons learned’ on how skills-related issues have been successfully addressed.

The Asia Pacific Skills and Employability Network is an online community and one-stop access point for information, news, ideas and events on different aspects of skills development. It provides a platform for discussing ideas and sharing experiences and resources. The forum is sponsored by the International Labour Organization (ILO), the UN agency dealing with work and workplace-related issues.

Anyone interested in current skills development issues is welcome to join and contribute ideas and information on the latest in skills development.
