This guide presents a step-by-step implementation of the Skills Technology Foresight (STF) process, developed during the workshop 'Using Technology Foresights for Identifying Future Skills Needs' (in July 2013), which was attended by leading skills anticipation and technology foresight experts from around the globe. The guide describes the methodology and the main tools for preparing, conducting and applying the results of STF. The STF method was piloted in two countries – Armenia (food processing and precision engineering/ICT) and Vietnam (metal processing industry).

This training programme is organized under the ILO/Korea project 'Towards a Mutual Recognition of Skills in CLM countries for AEC 2015 and beyond'. The training aims to strengthen the capacities of the CLM (Cambodia, Lao PDR and Myanmar) countries on competency-based curriculum, in particular for the automotive sector.
This workshop is designed to provide opportunities for participating countries to improve their knowledge and strengthen their capacities on the operations and functioning of their public employment services as well as to expand their network to provide jobseekers with better opportunities for domestic and overseas employment.
