Technical-Vocational Skills Development in Vanuatu

This technical-vocational education and training (TVET) review, conducted from 15-29 August, 2006, is one in a series of 13 country studies in a regional review of TVET financed by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and implemented by the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat (PIFS). The study analyses the economy and country situation for implications on skill requirements, describes the TVET system, identifies plans and programmes for TVET improvement, analyses the strengths and weaknesses of the TVET system, suggests policies and strategies for improvements and recommends possible investments.
